Auldton Stoves is a family run business, Naomi Murphy has over 35years’ experience in the industry, she co-founded the business after growing up with her parents selling wood burning stoves from their family home in the Lake District. Her husband Mark Murphy joined the company in 2003 having over 20 years of knowledge behind him, he is now a Company Director. Every generation of the family makes sure that they are involved in some way. Ed Murphy (son) became a full-time employee in 2018, Jodie Murphy (daughter) works in sales on her days off as a full-time nurse and Tamar Murphy (daughter) works in the office now full time, joining the Team in 2022 after finishing her Batcheler of Science Degree in Geography, adding new knowledge and expertise to the table, focusing and pushing her passion of the environment. 2. Generations of knowledge
Speaking of generations, the fact that Auldton Stoves has years of experience means that we have extensive knowledge that can be passed onto our customers who visit the showroom. We use our expertise and knowledge every day offering advice to our customers when they purchase their product. Stoves, BBQ’s, Chimneys, Cookers and Hot-Tubs we can help with it all! We also have a trade yard next to the showroom for other Stove and building company’s buying through their Auldton Stoves Accounts. Due to our many years within the industry, we have managed to build up a very good relationship with our suplliers. All of which are the top leading stove manufactures in Britain and Europe. As distributors in Scotland we hold many appliances in stock offer both the end user and our Trade Accounts Storage and quick supply. We have recently become Scotlands MI-Flues Distributor, a Chimney company that has been on our radar for many years. We are lucky to have a supplier manufacturing chimneys in Liverpool keeping things British as much as possible. At Auldton Stoves we can help Customers fitting their own stove by specing their chimney or supply amazing TRADE Discounts for independent stove installers. We do as much as possible, we can help you with HETAS Approved Installation Teams, we can supply just the stove, stove and chimney. Whatever you need, we can help.

3. Great Stove Showroom

The showroom in Dunlop always gives our visitors a warm welcome and the team love to help and show off our latest products. We have a variety of products that are on display in the showroom with over 60 stoves to look at, many of which are live to create a warm, cosy  atmosphere as soon as you step in.

We find that this helps our customers visualise each product and how it could work in their home. We want to ensure that our products live up to our and our customers expectations. The team are fantastic at arranging the showroom so that every product has a place to shine. We really do have a stove to suit your style! If you are looking to visit us for a chat about stoves, then we encourage people to bring a photo of the inside of the desired room and a photo of the external of the house so we can discuss installation more in depth. Please note that we do not directly get involved in installation however we have independent installation teams throughout Scotland that we can pass your details onto (post-code dependant). This allows you to visit the lovely showroom and choose your stove while getting quotes from a few installers to get the best price for installation. We can help find you an installer recommended by ourselves as Trade Accounts or feel free to source your own installation team, builder or family friend who has done their own or be brave and tackle the work yourself. We can do as much or as little as possible.

4. New Outdoor Living Showroom

First of its kind in Scotland, at Auldton Stoves we have an amazing new Internal and External Showroom area for all your Outdoor Living Needs. We have amazing market leading brands on board offering competitive prices both in store and online via our website. We are lucky to be in a position with storage that we can carry large quantities of stock for all Hot-Tubs, BBQs, Outdoor Kitchens, Pizza Ovens Firepits and Much more. In the new showroom area you will find a wide range of BBQ’s and Smokers. Gas, Charcoal, Wood and Electric all on offer. Every Saturday 10am-4pm we offer live Cooking Events showcasing exactly what these amazing grills have to offer. Ceramic Grills, Portable BBQ’s, Side Smokers, Bullets, Pizza Ovens, Gas BBQ’s, Outdoor Kitchens, Smoking Cabinets… we really do have something for everybody. Within the new area we have a large selection of BBQ Accessories, Charcoal, Smoking Chips & Chunks, Rubs and sauces etc making it the perfect stop prior to the weekend! Wood-fired hot-tubs and outdoor fireplaces are also here to tease you and the kids! It’s dangerous – be warned! we have designated staff available in the showroom Tuesday-Saturday that are trained on the outdoor brands. Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the products they use and sell.

We now offer Cook Schools showcasing our amazing rage with some of the best UK Live Fire Chefs, learning just how amazing cooking outdoors can be. We are happy to chat about the benefits of different charcoal, smoking wood and Accessories being the new ‘Go-To’ shop for BBQ beginners right through to Pitmaster Experts! 5. Range Cooker Display

Auldton Stoves are Scotland’s Premier Dealer for AGA and Everhot Range Cookers. We host regular Cooking Demonstrations and Sales Events for new and existing Customers. This gives you the chance to see the cookers in action, speak with chefs, existing owners and our team to ensure you choose the best cooker to fit your home and kitchen. We are on hand to answer technical questions as well as any cooking queries not only during these events but Tuesday-Saturday 10am-4pm in the showroom or over the phone. It’s well worth visiting our showroom display, the Everhot and AGA Cookers are beautifully situated in an old, converted milking barn at the heart of the Showroom on Auldton farm. In the old milking barn, you will find amazing, exposed beams, original concrete milking barn floor, stunning new Glenlith two tone kitchens, and obviously finished with the showrooms main feature fireplace creating a very cosy environment.

We think that it says a lot that the majority of our business is built on recommendations and word of mouth. We believe it’s because of our strong customer service from the Showroom staff to our delivery drivers. Everyone treats each other how they would like to be treated and we go above and beyond to help the customer. We work closely alongside our Trade Accounts who have been in the industry for many years, they all work extremely hard to ensure that the finished article is to the highest of standards, they really do take extra care with fine details.
