Kamado Joe’s Half Moon Deflector Plates offer a new way of grilling. The deflector plates allow you to stop cooking like a normal BBQ but turn the grill into an ultimate outdoor charcoal oven.

There deflector plates stop any direct heat from your coals and push both the heat and smoke up into the dome of the grill. This prevents you from burning the bottom of your food and creates a perfect even cook. This is perfect for meat joints, vegetables and pizza.

The Deflector places come in two half’s giving you the option of direct cooking of on side of the grill and indirect on the other. This is great for BBQ’s as your can get the smoky charcoal flavour from your direct side and then cook on the meat via the indirect side. This stops your from burning them sausages.
