Jøtul Terrazza XL is a larger model of the standard Terrazza it features a raised view of the fire. The fireplaces are made in Corten steel which gives a rustic, rusty surface after a short time. This also protects the steel, so that the fireplaces can stand out all year round with no additional cover required. Jøtul Terrazza XL has a large opening with good access from the sides and raised access to the fire. This give more heat out at face height when sitting or standing around the firepit. With the firebase being higher up you can benefit from more heat in the evenings, the perfect view to sit back and relax. This model is ideal for sitting onto decking etc as the fire is raised up and away from the wood.
At Auldton Stoves we always recommend having a non combustible hearth for your firepit to sit on. This can be as simple as some bricks lying around your garden, garden stone slabs or you can purchase a Matching Corten Steel Base/Floor Plate so your new firepit both is safe and stylish. This protects the underside of the firebase from burning decking and insures that if anything falls out of the firebox chamber while burning it will not damage or burn your flooring.
