1. Family owned & run company
Auldton Stoves is a family run business. Naomi Murphy has over 35years’ experience in the industry, she co-founded the business. This all started from their family home in the Lake District many years ago. Her husband Mark Murphy joined the company in 2003. Now adding over 20 years of knowledge, he is a key cog in the well oiled machine acting now as a Company Director.
Every generation of the family makes sure that they are involved in some way. Ed Murphy (son) became a full-time employee in 2018 adding the Outdoor Living sector and many online skills to the team. Jodie Murphy (daughter) works in sales on her days off as a full-time nurse. Tamar Murphy (daughter) works in the office now full time. She joined the Team in 2022 after finishing her Batcheler of Science Degree in Geography. Bringing new knowledge and expertise to the table. A great time to inject her passion for the environment. As a result she has been able to keep everybody informed when it comes to the new regulations and Government clean air act.

The Team at Auldton Stoves doesn’t stop with Family members. We have many staff that have a special connection to the family being old School friends and old neighbours. If they entered the workplace with no connection they quickly become part of our Auldton family.
2. Generations of knowledge
Speaking of generations. The fact that at Auldton Stoves we have years of experience behind us means we get it right. This extensive knowledge and passion can be passed onto our customers. We use our expertise and knowledge every day offering advice to our customers when they purchase their product. However, we don’t just stop with our Customers, we also have a trade yard next to the showroom for other Stove and building company’s buying through their Auldton Stoves Accounts in turn allows us to offer sound industry advise to other professionals. A great mix of fitters looking for advise and other people looking to carry out the work themselves. Supplying Market Leading Stoves and Chimney Systems to the Trade/Independent Installers, General Public and other Stove Showrooms throughout Scotland and the rest of the UK. 3. Great Stove Showroom
The showroom in Dunlop always gives our visitors a warm welcome and the team love to help and show off our latest products. We have a variety of products that are on display in the showroom with over 60 stoves to view. Therefore, we have many fires going everyday keeping us and our Customers warm. As a result we can create a cosy atmosphere as soon as you step inside.
We find visiting our showroom helps our customers visualise each product and how it could work in their home. Its like buying a car, you wouldn’t want somebody to choose this for you. We want to ensure that our products live up to our and our customers expectations. This with both functionality and design. We really do have a stove to suit your style! If you are looking to visit us for a chat about stoves, then we encourage people to bring a photo of the inside of the desired room and a photo of the external of the house so we can discuss installation more in depth before sending an installer out to your home for a free quotation and site survey. If your wanting to tackle the work yourself we can keep you right with our HETAS Approved team.
4. New Outdoor Living Showroom
First of its kind in Scotland, at Auldton Stoves we have an amazing new Internal and External Showroom area for all your Outdoor Living Needs. We have amazing market leading brands on board offering competitive prices both in store and online via our website. We are lucky to be in a position with storage that we can carry large quantities of stock for all Hot-Tubs, BBQs, Outdoor Kitchens, Pizza Ovens Firepits and Much more. In the new showroom area you will find a wide range of BBQ’s and Smokers. Gas, Charcoal, Wood and Electric all on offer.
Every Saturday 10am-4pm we offer live Cooking Events showcasing exactly what these amazing grills have to offer. Ceramic Grills, Portable BBQ’s, Side Smokers, Bullets, Pizza Ovens, Gas BBQ’s, Outdoor Kitchens, Smoking Cabinets… we really do have something for everybody.
Within the new area we have a large selection of BBQ Accessories, Charcoal, Smoking Chips & Chunks, Rubs and sauces etc making it the perfect stop prior to the weekend! Wood-fired hot-tubs and outdoor fireplaces are also here to look at. Knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff are on hand for any questions.

A word from Ed
Ed Murphy – “Myself and the team around me are all BBQ mad, loving your job is easy when you’re selling something you love to do in your spare time at home. Purchasing at Auldton Stoves doesn’t just stop with the delivery of your new grill. We love seeing and speaking to new and existing Customers about their recent cooks, experiences and methods.
I am a firm believer that you can only make good BBQ by making bad BBQ and it’s the fun along the way that makes it all worth it. We are wanting to create a community of Scottish BBQ enthusiasts 5to step closer to this goal we have set up Cook Schools with the best Live Fire Chefs in the UK, making this an amazing day out with food and drink included all day.
We are happy to chat about the benefits of different charcoal, smoking wood and Accessories being the new ‘Go-To’ shop for BBQ beginners right through to Pitmaster Experts! Don’t forget we are always grilling and smoking low and slow on a Saturday 10am-4pm!”
5. Range Cooker Display
Auldton Stoves are Scotland’s Premier Dealer for AGA and Everhot Range Cookers. We host regular Cooking Demonstrations and Sales Events for new and existing Customers. This gives you the chance to see the cookers in action, speak with chefs, existing owners and our team to ensure you choose the best cooker to fit your home and kitchen. We are on hand to answer technical questions as well as any cooking queries not only during these events but Tuesday-Saturday 10am-4pm in the showroom or over the phone.
It’s well worth visiting our showroom display, the Everhot and AGA Cookers are beautifully situated in an old, converted milking barn at the heart of the Showroom on the farm. In the old milking barn, you will find amazing, exposed beams, original concrete milking barn floor, stunning new Glenlith two tone kitchens, and obviously finished with the showrooms main feature fireplace creating a very cosy environment.

6. Customer focussed
We think that it says a lot that the majority of our business is built on recommendations and word of mouth. We believe it’s because of our strong customer service from the Showroom staff to our delivery drivers this is why everyone treats each other how they would like to be treated. The full team will go above and beyond to help the customer.
We work closely alongside our Trade Accounts who have been in the industry for many years, they all work extremely hard to ensure that the finished article is to the highest of standards. They really do take extra care with fine details. We believe this commitment to customer service is unrivalled and it is integrated from the sales team right through to our after sales department.
