ABOUT JACKS MEAT SHACK
Jack is a lifelong foodie, self-taught Chef, and social media influencer, who specialises in a range of services in outdoor cooking and digital media. He also runs a dedicated BBQ School in Suffolk at his new home. Jack has always been interested in BBQ and after many years of playing in his back garden we took to social media quickly stamping his name firmly into the UK BBQ Scene. Making waves from day one Jack managed to get his BBQ Pasion to the stage he could drop his day-to-day job and become a Full Time Pitmaster!
Jack has gone from strength to strength in his own BBQ Game and has passed his knowledge along the way, he is now regarded as one of the best BBQ Chefs in the UK. From writing his own cook books to catering for big events Jack really can – and is doing it all! From starting off in his BBQ Shack – “Jacks Meat Shack” is now working with many of the worlds largest brands such as Lidl, Harvester, Colmans, Ninja, Gozney, Casa Mia, Traeger and Kamado Joe.
Jack loves getting everybody involved and his class style reflects this. Get ready to roll up your sleeves and fire up the grills as his classes are all about hands-on experience. We will tackle some of the true classics of American BBQ whilst introducing some Scottish twists! We will be using fantastic Great British produce. Jack will teach you everything from hot and fast to low and slow with his awesome new menu that’s just hit
FOOD & DRINK
At Auldton Stoves we try and keep produce as local as possible. We will be using produce from Auldton Farm as much as possible if in season and local farms around us. Below is a sample menu of what type of things to expect. Subject to change.

WHATS INCLUDED
Learn new techniques and recipes with Jack (Jacks Meat Shack). Hands on cooking experience using the newest season premium grills. Kamado Joe’s, Gozney Pizza Ovens, Traeger Smokers, OONI and much more. Obviously you will be eating the food you are cooking… with a drink in hand. Ideal for beginners and experts alike who want to immerse themselves in the world of outdoor cooking. and expand their knowledge and experience. Where playful and classic flavours come together to create a menu that will tickle you family and friends. Please note, this event is restricted to ages 16+.
TRAVEL, LOCATION & ACCOMODATION
Live Fire Cook Schools will be happening at our purpose built outdoor Cook School Area located at the Auldton Stoves Showroom. Auldton Stoves Ltd, Auldton Farm, Lugton Road, Dunlop, KA3 4DR (25mins from Glasgow and 25min Ayr). The new Cook School Area offers a covered outdoor patio meaning we will survive the Scottish Weather! We will also have indoor space if required.
For those travelling that want a drink we are accessible via train (Dunlop Station) and bus (Lugton Road). We are within walking distance to Dunlop Station (1.1mi) or can uplift from the station if pre-organised.
If you are travelling from a distance don’t worry. We can organise your stay at our local Country Club and Spa with special rates. Please organise this through our office. 01560 480002. You might even catch a drink with the guest chef!
